Activities according to specialisation
There are many types of monument – castles, mansions, churches, town houses and palaces, country cottages, factories, bridges, mines, modern villas, gardens and parks. Care of them requires different types of knowledge in each case, specific approaches, various methods of restoration and methods of preservation.
NATIONAL HERITAGE INSTITUTE SPECIALISTS AT THE HEADQUARTERS AND REGIONAL SPECIALIST BRANCHES FOCUS ON THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES AND THEMES
Further types of heritage object – such as bells, organs, paving and so on – are less frequently listed as cultural monuments. As a result, we do not have specialists in these items at each branch. If, however, you ask heritage officers from your local branch for advice, they will be happy to recommend a specialist from another region to you.
