Presentation of Heritage

The presentation of heritage is an inseparable part of its existence and restorations. The National Heritage Institute is aware of the importance of presenting the challenges of heritage preservation - both in general terms, and also by highlighting the work and co-operation of owners who have been carrying out high quality renovations. Therefore, the Institute offers private owners the opportunity to present their work and 'proudly show' their achievements, and not merely on this website. We hope that this information may help others who are preparing for heritage renovations to familiarise themselves with some of the challenges. It may also offer valuable practical advice for tackling specific problems that may arise throughout the process.

The Institute also organises a range of cultural events, for example the Spring Open Garden Weekend and the Autumn Night of Castles and Historic Country Houses, in which privately owned heritage sites have been recently involved. Furthermore, the Institute organises lectures, expert seminars and conferences as part of its annual Media Plan. These give owners the opportunity to discuss their plans, expectations and issues with professionals and specialists from a wide range of fields.

Should you wish to present your heritage site, the Institute can offer space on this website, and not just there. Moreover, the Institute offers cooperation, assistance and access to contacts to help you raise awareness about your heritage.
